Hey there, it's Evan!
I am a User Experience (UX) Designer currently based in Singapore.

Prior to my transition into UX Design, I was an administrator in a University, which entailed organization, publicity and operations for summer programmes, immersion programmes, and graduate programmes. During which, establishing the needs and wants of prospective students felt crucial to be able to create positive educational experiences.

My desire to go on a quest towards the discovery of people's needs sparked my decision to join General Assembly's User Experience Design programme. I wanted to be able to design experiences that were emotional and meaningful beyond the education industry.

Through my time at General Assembly's UX Design Immersive Programme, I have honed various UX skills such as User Research, Information Architecture, prototyping, wire-framing.
However, User Research has been consistently the aspect of UX Design that fascinates me because I was excited by how conversations with people could bring about actionable insights to build solutions around.

As a person who loves conversations, I found this intersection between design and human interaction deeply intriguing - I believe the approach to UX problems is to engage in dialogue and actively listen.
